Historical Significance

Historically, the African-American church has served as stronghold of its community. Its mission transcended the ritual of Sunday morning worship to meet the critical physical, emotional and social needs of its people. We believe that with its support and cooperation, we can achieve success in the fight against HIV/AIDS and/or substance abuse.
